If I could design a nationwide ad for the Democrats in the 2022 midterm elections, I’d play footage of the capital breach and gallows and follow it up with that of Republicans House Minority Leader Kevin McCarthy and Senate Minority Leader Mitch McConnell, both up for reelection.
